Get up close and personal on one of our custom made food tours of Scotland. Visit a Scottish salmon smokehouse, meet the fishermen who land the famous west coast crab and sweet langoustines, visit artisan food producers, dine in award winning restaurants and even take a cooking lesson with some of the countries top chefs.

This tour includes an Aberdeen Angus prime steak experience, wonderful smoked salmon, and a personal visit to a seasonal crop producer.
First off we head to rural Perthshire which has some of Scotland’s finest salmon rivers, as well as perfect agricultural land suited to rearing top quality beef and growing crops. We will meet the owner of an organic beef farm, learn about the famous Aberdeen Angus pedigree breed and experience a prime cut tasting of the meat in the farmhouse itself.
We also take in a visit to an artisan smokehouse to taste the premier quality hot and cold smoked salmon that they have become famous for. The last visit on the tour varies depending on the season we visit and will include a visit to one of the the following types of producers – asparagus grower, rapeseeed oil producer, fruit grower or oat harvester.
Also included on this food tour is lunch at an award winning “Scottish Restaurant of the Year”. This includes wine and an introduction from the head chef / owner, as well as a Scottish speciality cheese tasting. Morning coffee and afternoon tea is also included as well as complimentary on-board hospitality basket.
On this tour visit the world famous and picturesque town of St Andrews which is also a real food lovers paradise as well as being famous as the home of golf. We
We go on two producer visits which give you a unique insight and allow you to see and taste the products first hand. We will visit a craft ale micro-brewer and an award winning artisan cheese maker, as well as visiting a working fishing harbour, to get a flavour of the town’s genuine food heritage. There will also be free time to explore the cobbled streets and lanes of this beautiful town.
Included on this culinary tour is a Scottish and regional speciality tasting lunch at a “hidden gem” location, including wine. You will also taste the local hop gin and meet the head chef / owner. Finally you can finish off with your choice of a private Scotch whisky tasting, or a luxury Italiano / Scottish ice cream tasting.
